Tony Aguilar

Born in 1919, the late Tony Aguilar had a long and much honored life. He learned jewelry-making from his Pueblo family, a Navajo teacher at Santa Fe Indian School, and was much influenced by the jewelry he saw during his couple of years stationed in Iran, during World War II. HIs work was a blend of all these influences, often featuring large, natural stones.
He is now considered a Master, and his jewelry is much sought after.
