Terrance Guardipee

Terrance Guardipee is a renowned painter who specializes in ledger art – subjects representing Indian life, formerly painted on scraps of discarded commercial paper, etc. He grew up on the Blackfeet Reservation in Montana and later attended the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
He is involved in several Indian art markets in the United States, including: the Santa Fe Indian Market in New Mexico; the Heard Museum’s Indian Art Market in Phoenix, Arizona; and the Eiteljorg Museum Art Market in Indianapolis, Indiana. He has won numerous awards and recognition for his creativity and ingenuity in the arts. He concentrates on subjects that are part of his Blackfeet tribal history.
