2018 Holiday Silent Auction – Benefiting Pegasus Legal Services for Children

Wright’s is holding a Silent Auction, benefiting Pegasus Legal Services for Children, online at wrightsgallery.com beginning on Monday, November 19th and ending at 6 pm on Saturday, January 5th.

This silent auction features fabulous Native Art, donated by prominent artists, and goodies from community businesses. Stock up on gifts, or find a special something for yourself, while helping an important resource for our community’s children.

100% of the proceeds of this silent auction will benefit the hard work of Pegasus Legal Services for Children, a non-profit in Albuquerque, that helps children that need representation in New Mexico. Pegasus is partnering with the Native American Disability Law Center, and others, in a landmark lawsuit calling for major reform of the foster care system in New Mexico.

Pegasus works with numerous Native American children in New Mexico, including contracting directly with the Pueblo of Isleta, and representing children from many different tribal affiliations, as well as working with any child that can be helped, regardless of background or level of economic privilege.

Pegasus provides civil legal services to children and youth in dire situations. Most of the clients served have suffered extreme hardships such as abuse and neglect. Pegasus is committed to helping them find positive, long-term solutions.

Pegasus offers a unique range of services to homeless and runaway youth, teen parents, children in the abuse/neglect system, children being raised by their grandparents, and children who have been denied appropriate educational services. Pegasus prides itself on providing comprehensive, high quality legal services to the most vulnerable children and youth in New Mexico.
