Tablita Fragua

A younger member of the extended Fragua family of potters from Jemez Pueblo. Her father is renowned sculptor Cliff Fragua, but Tablita has chosen to work in clay, like her grandmother, Juanita Fragua. She says that holding the clay makes her …”feel so close to Mother Nature.” Her goal is to pass on the family pottery skills to another generation.
Her smoothly finished and rounded pieces have a lovely, serene feeling.
