Richard Tsosie

Richard Tsosie is considered to be among the finest Native silversmiths. He is especially known for his fine lapidary, technique. His designs and execution are just as masterful. Like his brother, Boyd Tsosie, he learned his craft from the legendary Kenneth Begay, one of the seminal innovators of contemporary jewelry in the southwest.
Richard Tsosie’s jewelry is featured in print, private collections and museums including the permanent collections of the Museum of Man in San Diego, the Smithsonian, Heard Museum, and Museum of Northern Arizona.
