Shimmering silver, formed into a graceful oval, supports the star – a ravishing, high-set, natural Lone Mountain turquoise.
Incised lines, in the silver surround, evoke the traditional Zia symbol that encompasses the four corners of the world.
The broad silver surface glistens brilliantly, while the beautiful, gentle blues of the stone brings the sky down to earth.
There are two more remarkable features to this lovely ring: The silver oval is set slightly above a second, slightly larger oval that just peeps around the edge, revealing a prettily chiseled edge.
This ingenious design creates an interesting, double outline, when seen from the side – like a sandwich.
Then, there is the shank: a sturdy gauge of silver, it is flat on the inside, to fit comfortably, rounded on the exterior, and incised in a basket weave pattern that harmonizes with the chiseled edge and incised lines on the ring’s face.
And, that’s not all! It is somewhat adjustable, which is really nice, since fingers are different sizes.
A creative and beautiful, personal design that is meticulously fabricated.
