Turquoise and Coral Bead Necklace

Out of stock

Angie Crespin is the wife of well-known Santo Domingo Pueblo (Ke-Wa) artist Kenneth Aguilar, whose stunning beaded necklaces and inlaid shells are in collections around the world.

More often then not, Angie and Kenneth make their necklaces together, hand-crafting each bead and stringing them into beautiful and elegant necklaces, however, this necklace is attributed to Angie alone.

Small, almost perfectly uniformed beads of turquoise (most likely stabilized in order to form such perfect beads), and apple coral are strung together, the coral interspersed at varying length, to form a quietly understated but magnificent necklace.

The turquoise represents the sky and water, while the red of the coral is representative of the land, a tribute to Mother Earth.

Whether worn alone or stacked with other necklaces, this is a go-to piece that can be worn with any outfit, for any occasion!
