Description

The artist – internationally known for his mastery of miniature pottery – won a Best of Division award from the prestigious Heard Museum Indian Art Fair, for a similar 3-part pot.

Traditional in method and technique, these pieces can be separated, and displayed in different configurations!

Beautifully carved, formed and painted (with one fiber of a brush!), this three-pot piece started with hand dug, hand formed clay.

The painted designs are intricate, and impeccably painted. The colors are natural; red clay slip and plant-derived dark paint. The piece was pit-fired.

Stone-polished, crisp in silhouette and carving, each pot is a diminutive treasure. Together, they form a marvel of pottery technique and artistry.

Please see the additional photo, demonstrating how the three parts separate, then have fun with them, at home.
