“A self-taught jeweler, like many others, unlike many others, (Aaron John’s) work is fresh, individual, and beautifully made.” That is the judgement of a recognized specialist in Indian art.
His preferred subjects are found in Nature: birds, dragonflies, and – as here – flowers.
With precise detail and lovely stones, he has created a field of sunflowers to wear on your wrist, all year long. The seven blossoms alternate in size, from smaller to large.
Their stems also alternate, with some growing from one edge, and others from the opposite edge, so there is no “wrong” direction to the cuff.
Each sunflower is centered with a clear and colorful, natural stone: turquoise, red coral, orange spiny oyster shell, yellow mother of pearl, purple sugilite, and black onyx.
Smaller – in fact, tiny – cabochons of these stones are sprinkled in between the overlaid silver flowers.
Polished silver gleams, and the vibrant stones snap, against the densely darkened silver base.
Narrow, but brilliantly polished edges frame the charming and dramatic botanical display.
The workmanship is as fine as the design, and as high in quality as the beautiful stones.
This is an exquisite bracelet with a graceful design and just enough vivid color to go with everything.
Wear it day in, day out, and enjoy your ever-blooming garden.
