Square “Mic” Ring
A new version that expounds upon an original and unusual idea from an innovative Zuni jeweler.
This young jeweler joins those who go beyond the traditional, Zuni lapidary styles.
Inspired by his musician and DJ friends, his creative idea is to cover a stone with a fine mesh of pure silver wire, giving it the allure of a mysteriously veiled face – or a microphone.
Here, a solid black onyx stone is covered with a mesh of silver wire and clear doming resin, which gives it a muted, very intriguing, and different look, and also leaves it smooth to the touch.
Sleek, and uncommon, the ring quietly emits a chic, contemporary vibe.
The new addition to this unusual style is the decoration that consumes the entirety of the wide shank, a sort of abstract water design made with partially melted silver.
Moreover, the ring is adjustable, so if it doesn’t fit the finger you want it on, you can enlarge it, or make it slightly smaller.
Totally different, very attractive, and a real statement piece.
