A multi-talented artist who studied at IAIA under the likes of Onalee Loloma (painting), Skip Holbrook (jewelry) and Alan Houser (sculpture), Peter has been working in silver and gold for over 30 years. He has a very distinctive contemporary style, which alludes to Navajo rug patterns (his mother is a well-known weaver).
In this exquisitely designed cuff, Peter has overlaid brightly polished silver over a dark, oxidized background, the designs resemble the Hopi “pathway through life”, but in a more contemporary and stylized fashion.
Slightly offset from the center of the cuff is a stunning triangle of Natural Fox turquoise. The pastel-ish blue-green hue of the stone mixed with the caramel colored matrix is set brilliantly against the clean and polished silver, and the lines in the silver accent the stones shape, a perfect pair.
This cuff can be worn by a man or a woman, for everyday casual wear, or for a fancier affair. You can be sure, no matter when you wear it, compliments will come your way!
