New to us, this artist has been specializing in creating tribal regalia – beadwork, etc, for powwow and ceremonial outfits.
These strikingly attractive earrings are one of the first pieces of his we acquired.
The material is natural rawhide, and the eagle feathers are beautifully painted. So, not only lovely to look at, but…like feathers on the ear, too.
In a hard-to-find palette of pale gold and brown, these earrings would look wonderful with the spiny oyster shell/brown heishi tab necklace, elsewhere on this site.
However, they are eye-catching all by themselves, and would add flattering drama to tees, sweaters, shirts, and more.
Feathers are sacred, to almost every tribe, so these beauties are more than just great-looking.
Perfect for a gift; why not gift yourself?
