He began making jewelry at the age of 14, together with his parents. Now, a heap of awards can be added to his name, including Best of Division (All jewelry!) at Santa Fe Indian Market.
He signs his pieces “Snowhawk”, his Native name, given to him by his grandmother.
Exquisitely hand fabricated metalwork, and high-quality stones are his trademarks; both are obvious in this stunning pendant.
The stamping and hand-chiseled feather design are exacting and well done. The feathers denote prayers and the Natural Sleeping Beauty Turquoise, protection.
The Turquoise is set beautifully in a handmade bezel, shadowbox style, with a thicker and shapely ring of silver providing the depth around it.
The bale has chiseled lines from end to end, a nice finishing touch on another exemplary piece by one of the best artists working today!
This is an example of fine craftsmanship, and there is no doubt that it will enhance any look!
