A pretty, abstract version of a Hopi maiden, identified by her characteristic hairdo – two buns, one on each side of the face. And she is reversible!
The face is a luminous oval of mother of pearl, and the shapely body is adorned with a variety of semi-precious stones and 14-karat gold, set against lightly textured silver. An “embroidered” sash flows diagonally, with hand stamped designs on gold, overlaid on chiseled silver. The amethyst, garnet, gold and silver domes add a luxurious touch. The other side is all silver. Her face has chiseled features, and her body is wrapped in a blanket, indicated by hand stamping. One side for fancy; one for plain.
With understated elegance, and two looks in one piece, this lovely pendant can be worn with everything from simple tops to dressy attire. It will always look beautiful.
