Description
The lustrous, darkly iridescent mother-of-pearl is complemented by gleaming sterling silver dangles. Both parts are long and slender and gently curved forming a lovely harmony.
A felicitous pairing, accomplished by this always inventive young jeweler. Eric comes by his talent naturally – he is a grandson of Ben and Felicita Eustace, and a son of innovative award-winner Jolene Eustace.
His own prize-winning style has always been contemporary, often with a touch of the traditional, as here.
The mother of pearl is meticulously cut and inlaid in a vertical row. These faint horizontal lines discreetly oppose the verticality of the earrings.
The length is measured from the top or the wires, so if they seem a little long, we can change them to posts, still dangling, but a bit shorter.
Subtly dark, dainty and definitely flirty, designed with finesse and grace, and executed with wonderful, old-fashioned hand workmanship.
