Description
This preeminent artist is known for carrying her father’s (Leo Poblano) legacy of innovation in jewelry design into two further generations – hers and her equally talented children’s. Eagerly collected all over the world, her work takes a giant leap away from traditional work by Zuni Pueblo jewelers – except for the finely cut, high grade, natural stones, and how carefully they are arranged.
This one-of-a-kind pendant is sure to attract admiring comments, with the large, center druzy glittering with a multitude of iridescent sparkles that change color under different lighting situations. The natural, high-grade sugilite, below, is cut into a diamond shape. Along with the blue and green turquoise stones – also natural – it picks up some of the kaleidoscope of colors that shimmer in the druzy. A simple sterling silver setting discreetly frames the flashing, glimmering centerpiece.
Definitely a show-stopper, this pendant will look equally at home on pull-overs or party-dresses. A splendid piece by a legendary artist.
