A prize-winning jeweler from a three-generation family of prize-winning innovators, Jovanna has found her own niche, working with beads and stones in stunning combinations. Her work is noted for creative flair, meticulous work, and gorgeous color. All that is present in this beauty of a necklace.
Sparkling green, faceted crystal beads are interrupted by graduated nuggets of stabilized, green turquoise, contrastingly rugged in form and texture. They support a fabulous pendant of natural labradorite, that changes from neutral to iridescent as the northern lights, according how the light hits it. The sort-of heart shape of the labradorite is outlined by a border of minuscule, matte teal beads, and then tiny glass beads, spangled with dark iridescence. More of these wee beads dangle from the pendant, forming a graduated fringe of those glittering green crystals, and a square “chiclet” of labradorite. A larger crystal bead and a smaller green-ish turquoise terminate the longest of these fringes, in the center.
Imaginative, unique, and gorgeous to behold, this necklace looks wonderful with knits and shirts, as well as more dressy outfits. Prepare to answer admiring questions!
