Tommy Jackson is an artist as versatile as he is talented, creating beautiful pieces of jewelry that range from the vintage-style to the contemporary. Of course, he had great teachers in his parents, Gene and Martha Jackson!
Here, he has stuck to tradition and showcased the old-style, with beautifully stamped sterling silver and a stunning and rare natural Apache Blue turquoise cabochon that is certainly the star of the piece.
The wide, sterling silver cuff is stamped with a row of textured diamonds that trail from the edges of the cuff to the center, guiding your eye to the delicious turquoise stone that shines brilliantly in the center. The diamonds are bordered with curved arrows, or possibly mountains, again asking you to follow their path to the treasure in the middle.
There, the natural Apache Blue turquoise cabochon sits, surrounded with an intricately stamped sterling silver plate, a hand twisted wire that wraps around the bezel, and the handmade bezel itself, which is gap-toothed, a perfect juxtaposition to the flowing blue beauty of the stone.
The Apache Blue turquoise mine is small, and only a portion of its beautiful bounty has been discovered. We are thrilled that Tommy was able to secure a piece of this mesmerizing stone, and even more excited that we can share it with you!
A heavy bracelet that can be worn by men or women (it measures 6 1/2″ all around), and dressed up with a suit or as a complement to jeans and a chic t-shirt, this is a piece you don’t want to miss out on!
An astounding stone in a simple satin silver setting, by a master of the trade, this is a treasure you will enjoy for years to come!
