Heavy-Gauge Narrow Cuff
Lyle is a devoted family man, an activist for the legal protection of Native jewelry – and a very well-respected, well-known jeweler!
He learned from his father, one of a family of noted silversmiths, and is a master of chisel work and hand-stamping.
Lyle designs his own stamps, works the silver in the old way, and calls his style a blend of the old and the new.
This precisely fabricated cuff is a lovely example.
The stamping is deep and accurate.
The stamping on top is a six-sided shape, repeated over and over, while the sides have multiple stamps, and even the flared and rounded ends are stamped.
Delicate in appearance, this narrow bracelet is nicely sturdy, with an intriguing collection of designs.
Meticulously fabricated, entirely by hand, it looks wonderful on its own and will stack with other cuffs, as well.
