Description
A wonderful piece – shapely, and traditionally made.
The clays were hand-gathered, and mixed, coiled, stone-polished, and deeply carved by hand, as well.
The green clay slip is natural, and is found in northern New Mexico. Together with the creamy ivory, it makes a distinctive, delicate combination.
The form is well-balanced, full of panache and personality, with that unexpected, lovely coloration. And the price is equally terrific!
The extended Yepa family includes many award-winning potters, and this beautiful vase proves that quality doesn’t necessarily require a famous name.
