A master jeweler, painter, teacher, tribal leader, this remarkable artist works with the finest materials and sets them very simply, to their greatest advantage.
These chunks of fossilized tusk ivory are set so that the rounded forms reflect a subtle gleam. For contrasting shine and sparkle, there are a few understated slivers of polished sterling. This beautiful pendant has subtle variations of textures and tone, in the ivory. There are four distinct rows on the pendant, the middle of which is divided by silver channels. The variation of vertical and horizontal inlay, and differing sizes, gives the piece an added sense of style and texture. The inspiration may have come from the earthen brickwork of pre-historic Native ruins.
Another heirloom classic, from an early student of the legendary Charles Loloma, but one who brings his own talent into play.
