With a good, solid heft to the overlaid 14-karat gold, and the underlying sterling silver, crisp hand stamping in an individual, but traditional, design, and a larger-than-usual wrist size, this bracelet is suitable for either man or woman.

A clever arrangement of “eyelash” stamps, along with others, creates a dense, intricate pattern that looks like a woven tapestry – or Navajo rug. Simplifying the complex appearance of the gold stamping, a row of pillowed silver columns adds a touch of contemporary sleekness, on either side of the gold area. The hand stamp work and chiseling is impeccable, and there is a surprise on the interior: another hand stamped design!

Like a row of chorus girls in dancing unison, two uniform rows of fringed arrow shapes decorate the inside of the bracelet. Each row faces away from the artist’s signature, making even this unseen area a carefully worked out, symmetrical design. This accords with the Navajo concept of “hozh’ho”, or beauty everywhere.

Generous amounts of sterling and gold, a personal design using traditional methods, and an ample, 7″ wrist-size, make this bracelet one that you will wear every day, to many compliments. And so will future generations.
