Description

Description:
He is the most prominent Native cartoonist, and the only one with regular representation in a non-Native, city newspaper, the Santa Fe New Mexican. It has been said of him, “Cat hits on the irony native people feel and express in humor.” That is certainly true here. Natives, like Anglos, sometimes have ambivalent feelings about the judicial system, on or off the reservation. This amusing rendering of “old-fashioned” justice cuts both ways – was it better, or is our current system better? With vivid color and wry wit, this is a wonderful gift for an attorney or judge, as well as everyone else.
