The artist comes from a large, respected family of metalsmiths and potters. Her work is known for it’s darkened and textured silver, which achieves a unique, primitive sophistication.
The grace of the flower form contrasts interestingly with the rough metal texture, while the gleaming, 18-karat gold centers are just the right, bright touch. Even the shank continues the design, integrally. It also is in two layers, of the same ruggedly textured and gracefully edged silver as the face. There is also a little gold dome at the back, to carry the design full circle.
With precise workmanship, inspired design, and wonderfully unique look, this is really flower power!
Sorry, the marvelous design means this ring cannot easily be re-sized.
