Description
He is the 3rd generation of an internationally acclaimed family of artists, famed for reinventing Zuni jewelry design. Dylan follows in his grandfather’s and mother’s footsteps, but with a distinctly personal style.
He is skilled in the traditional Zuni technique of lapidary work – cutting and inlaying stones – but in a totally contemporary way. His work was featured in museum shows before he turned 30, a master at an early age.
This ultra-modern ring reflects his interest in modern art, fashion, and design. It is composed of separate squares of inlaid sterling silver boxes, nine total, arranged in uneven columns.
The abstract, geometric mosaic design showcases a variety of materials, including turquoise, mother-of-pearl, quartz, lapis, gaspeite, and even glass.
The stones are inlaid at different heights within their bezels.
This one-of-a-kind ring was created as a vibrant, beautifully composed, three-dimensional artwork.
The artistry, skill, and creativity don’t end there: the shank is put together in the style of a cylindrical cage, holding your finger well while still helping the ring to fit comfortably.
Created by one of the most innovative, award-winning, artists of today, this will be a piece of museum-worthy art on your finger!
