Another Zuni artist, another style of the intriguing, spinning reversible rings, inlaid with colorful birds. On one side of the domed silver background, a bright red coral cardinal is perched on a branch. Spin this silver bead, and a blue jay appears, also perched on a branch with malachite leaves.
The shank is a rounded band that is super-comfortable to wear, and both sides are hand stamped around the edge of the silver. Entirely hand fabricated, each bird in meticulously inlaid with minuscule detail in beaks, legs, etched wings, etc. An eye-catching conversation piece that is a pleasure to look at and wear.
