Dramatic in its simplicity, this handsome bolo looks back to the old days of Navajo jewelry style. Back then, a fabulous stone – the bigger the better – was the star, and the silver work just supported it.
This stone is gorgeously large, natural, and vintage; a treasured piece of old turquoise that the jeweler has been keeping for years, no doubt. The mossy green and autumnal browns are typical of the Royston mine. The play of hues in this stone gives it great depth. Wisely emphasizing the marvelous stone, the silver work is left minimal, but beautifully complementary.
Precise and delicate stamping, around the bezel and the border, is all that is needed. It is all about that turquoise.
Simple tips complete this distinctive bolo. The cord can be exchanged for a longer length, if necessary.
