Description
This ring is all about geometry, and here is a new axiom: every piece by Dylan Poblano is fashion-forward, chic, fun, and fabulous.
A marvelous example of Dylan Poblano’s distinctive, contemporary sensibility – and of his fine workmanship, the materials are traditional – sterling silver, mother of pearl, beautiful natural turquoise (looks like Blue Gem) – but the design and the stones are anything but.
Dylan is the third generation of notable Zuni artists, and each one was/is famous for taking Zuni tradition way beyond the expected.
Included in national museum shows before the age of 30, this multiple award winner has created another futuristic statement ring that looks back at his Zuni lapidary tradition, and definitely forward, to the future.
Creatively designed, and visually stunning, this fabulous ring is comfortable on the finger, and meticulously hand fabricated.
The design of triangles within triangles is ingenious, and actually an abstraction of the traditional water spiral and storm symbol.
The inlaid turquoise is a brilliant, true turquoise color, and the mother of pearl is luminous. there is a lot of energy in the design, but it is all harmoniously integrated.
The shank consists of two flat bands of plain silver; it hugs the finger in comfort, and discreetly supports the face of the ring.
Avant-garde, sophisticated, edgy, dramatic, and suited to our casual lifestyle, this unique ring will wow them in every world capital, and down-home, too.
