Max Early

Max Early grew up with his grandparents, and painted some of his grandmother?s pottery as a teenager. As a teen-ager he tried making pottery and was successful. After college, he refined his technique, and developed a personal touch while maintaining traditional Laguna symbols and designs.
He has continued to become a top prize-winning artist at Santa Fe Indian Market. His output is restricted in size, but certainly not in quality. He maintains the highest standards of traditional pottery-making and helps to preserve Laguna Pueblo styles, as well as expanding them.
