Marilyn Lewis Ray

A well-known Acoma Pueblo potter, noted for her adorable child and animal figures. She is a sibling of highly reputed potters Carolyn Concho, Diane Lewis, Judy Lewis, Sharon Lewis and Rebecca Lucario, and started to work in clay at age 12.
Her charming pieces are widely collected. Lately, her figures are even more animated and detailed than ever. All her work is traditional: handmade from clay to firing to paint.
