Lyle Toledo Yazzie

Park Ranger, rancher and Navajo artist, Yazzie has been working with silver for nearly 20 years. He resides in the heart of the Chaco basin from where he gets his design inspiration. As a Park Ranger he has had the opportunity to study the Chacoan rock art images, and as a Dine’ he understands and embraces the Navajo iconography. His wearable-art, overlay jewelry uses prehistoric and contemporary Native American designs to provide the wearer with a personal connection to these cultures.
