Daughter of revered Navajo jeweler Thomas Curtis, Jennifer is celebrated in her own right as “the best woman jeweler today”, according to the spontaneous, recent opinion of one of the leading male jewelers.
She has perfected the intricate, precise hand stamping that her late father was known for, and adds her own feminine sensibility to her impeccable technique.
An award winner many times, at many shows, Jennifer exhibits her jewelry at the annual SWAIA Santa Fe Indian Market, among others. She says, “The rug designs I etch come from my grandmother’s weavings. Other symbols are inspired by the landscape I grew up with, the clouds and canyons….”
