Felino Eriacho

Felino began carving when he graduated from high school. His earliest carvings were in antler – mostly owls and birds. His carving mentors included his grandfather, Andrew Weahkie, and his uncles Roger Tsabatsaye and Will McKaye. They are a pretty high-powered group of carving and artistic talent.
Felino is an active, professional hunting guide. Therefore, he does very little carving in the late summer and fall, during hunting season. He is noted for fetishes carved from native stones, and traditional kachinas, carved from dead cottonwood roots.
