Fannie Loretto-Lucero

From Jemez Pueblo, Fannie started making pottery in her teens. She is an award-winning clay artist, known for her expressive pottery masks and figures: More than a quarter-century of judges have attested that she is an exceptional pottery artist. Now, adding to her prize-winning ways, she is also an actress and newly nominated for a “Best Actress” award at the 39th Annual American Indian FIlm Festival, to be held in San Francisco, this November.
Her children are also celebrated artists in their own right: Adrian Wall, noted sculptor, jeweler and musician, and prize-winning Kathleen Wall, a perennial sell-out at Santa Fe Indian Market for her pottery figures and masks.
