Cheyenne Harris

A Navajo from Arizona, Cheyenne has developed a unique style that places her on the cutting edge of contemporary jewelers. Her work was included in the exhibit “Changing Hands: Art Without Reservation” which opened at the American Craft Museum in New York City, and then in Santa Fe, as part of a national museum tour.
She is considered an important contemporary silversmith, and has won may awards, of course. She is descended from four generations of jewelers, but has developed her own, internationally influenced style. She studied with Scandinavian and Korean metalsmiths, thereby learning different techniques to apply to the inspiration of her own heritage.
