April Newsletter

Here in New Mexico, we long for some April showers – a super-warm, dry and windy March has already brought us an abundance of flowers – and allergies.

For those of you still dealing with wintry weather, look at the bouquet of flower and plant-themed pieces we have found for you, and bring Spring into your home all year!

Spring is important to our Native tribes as the planting season begins, and prayers for the harvest ahead are expressed in ceremonial dances and wonderful works of art.

In pottery, jewelry, folk art, kachinas, and fetishes, Spring is symbolized in various, delightful ways: flowers, leaves, cornstalks, and birds are abundant in many mediums.

April also brings us to that wonderful time of year – tax time.  We here at Wright’s know that taxes can be quite painful, so to ease the burden a bit, we are paying the taxes on purchases made in-store between April 3rd and April 15th.  But don’t fret out-of-staters…due to the fact that taxes are not charged on items purchased and shipped outside New Mexico, we are also offering free shipping during this time! (See our promotional guidelines below)*We have many wonderful pieces for any occasion, so look though our website and claim your favorite new pieces…before someone else grabs them!

Also, please remember we have many more beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces in our store that haven’t made it online yet, so if you don’t see what you are looking for, e-mail us or call, and we can send photos of pieces that might be just what you want.
Easter is just around the corner, and we have beautiful friendship bowls, gorgeous handmade crosses, and many more fabulous, one-of-a-kind pieces of art that would be wonderful additions to any celebration!

Remember, we are always happy to chat with you – virtually or on the phone – so you find exactly what you’d like, anytime. If you’re happy, we’re happy!
