A past Indian Artist of the Year, elected by a national survey of his peers, this half-Navajo, half-Greek (Nav-eek!) master jeweler uses only the highest quality stones, like this splendid lapis. His technique for laser cutting the magnificent stones, after the metal work has been completed, has stumped would-be imitators for years. There is nothing like a Naveek piece.

Here, deepest, richest dark blue lapis is webbed with gold, and surrounds the solid gold body of the butterfly. As in all his pieces, the workmanship is exceptional; the equal of the quality of the materials.
