Wright's Indian Art > Artist: Mangas Slinky (Navajo, Lakota)

A young Navajo jeweler, Mangas was mentored by his stepfather, Michael Little Elk, and makes pieces that reflect Michael's Plains heritage, as well as his own. He likes to make figural pieces, often using a turquoise for the "face", and to accent the sterling with gold.
