Clarence Cruz is from the Pueblo of San Juan/Ohkay Owingeh and holds a BFA from the University of Ne Mexico. His pottery emphasizes the traditional micaceous vessels of his northern Pueblo heritage. In addition to creating his own work, he is a committed and popular teacher at the Poeh Center for the Arts at Pojoaque Pueblo.
